The mastercard tv commercial gets me thinking about what is “priceless”. Is there anything that we literally do not put a price tag on? (rhetorical)
We put $ on people’s life in a lawsuit, we put $ on people based on their assets. My worth can be calculated in minutes.
How can we say something is priceless when our lives are measured in $ everyday?
And then they say, well, your experiences, your friends, etc. – priceless
sure, but those come at a price. You meet people where you have already spent money, invested money, or making money, whatever.
I don’t know, I just feel like my perspective is skewed by money. It seems to me that everything I do revolves around money. How can it not?
